10. Click on +add an integration column

A new box appears with the original selection of add an integration column or add a display column

This needs to be MUCH more prominent. Hard to see that this is the next step. I have often accidentally clicked next while in the middle of this process. The next should be in another brown box below this one (consistent with the previous and following pages in this process) perhaps add an exit button and eventually a back button?**

ok - suggestion

11. Click Add a display column

The previous box disappears and is replaced by a select a data table box

∫27. ERROR CHECK: 15. Click "Next Apply Filter" WITHOUT SELECTING ANY PART OF THE ONTOLOGY TREE (ALL CHECK BOXES SHOULD BE UNCHECKED)

Should Display The following errors were found with your submission

  • Either no integration columns or filter values were selected, please go back and select both

PROBLEM: There is not any way of getting back. This should be handled the way the errors are handled in the metadata population for new resources??**

ERROR!! ok as of 06032011 (Put in Jira Number?)

28. Repeat the steps up to step 26.

ok

29. Check that the present variables match the data that is the dataset (blue check boxes and red x boxes for each data table are present) by using excel or access to verify

http://alpha.tdar.org/workspace/filter.action

ok

30. "Ontology labels from Alexandria / Spitalfields Faunal Date" Ontology Period Text and SITE NO, check on  Period 2 - After 1600 – everything else should be cleared

Box should be checked off to the right of the " Period 2 - After 1600  (all

clear)"

32. Select one entry from tree that includes only information from one dataset and not the other (Clupea for example)

Box is checked, should only display this variable with no change

ok

33. Check on highest level category with none coded at the higher level in either dataset, but children are coded. ( Elopomorpha  (all

clear)

Box Checked, should aggregate all children to this level in output. For example all Anguilla anguilla (common eel European eel)                     Conger conger (conger eel sea eel) should aggregate up to Elopomorpha .

ok

34 Select CHRONDRICHTHYES (cartilaginous fishes rays requins sharks)

Box checked (testing skipping variables)

ok

35 click "Apply filter button"

Takes you to data integration results page

37. check all downloaded datasets in excel against each other

ok

38. open the original dataset (not integrated), check against all downloaded datasets by using sort. Make sure the number of entries, filtering, and that the aggregation is correct. Note how tdar modified the data
